These terms govern the use of mandibhai.com and the Mandi Bhai platform, operated by JANMANDI VENTURES PRIVATE LIMITED. By registering for or using the platform you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the platform.

Who may use the platform

Mandi Bhai is for businesses only. To register you must be at least 18 years old and be acting for a lawfully operating business — a wholesale trader, a retail shop or another commercial buyer. You are responsible for the accuracy of the business details you give us and for keeping your account credentials secure. We may decline or suspend a registration we cannot verify.

Our role

Mandi Bhai is a facilitator. We provide the platform on which wholesalers list goods and retailers order them, and we arrange delivery between the two. We are not the seller of the goods. Each sale is a contract between the wholesaler and the retailer. Title to the goods passes directly from one to the other and never to us.

The wholesaler is responsible for the description, grade, weight, quality, packaging, lawful sourcing and pricing of what it lists, and for issuing the applicable tax invoice.

Orders, rates and payment

• Rates are set by the wholesaler and can move with the market. The rate that applies is the one confirmed when the order is accepted.
• An order is a binding offer to buy. It becomes a contract when the wholesaler accepts it.
• Prices are exclusive of taxes unless stated otherwise. Applicable GST is charged as required by law.
• Payment must be made by the method and within the period shown at the time of the order. We may charge for platform or delivery services, and any such charge is shown before you confirm.

Delivery

We aim to deliver orders within 60 minutes inside a mandi's stated catchment area. This is a target, not a guarantee. Delivery times can be affected by traffic, weather, market hours, order size and circumstances outside our control. Someone authorised by the retailer must be present at the delivery address to receive and check the order.

Shortages, damage and returns

Check the order on delivery. Report a shortage, a wrong item or visible damage at the time of delivery, or within 24 hours, with photographs. Verified claims are settled with the wholesaler by replacement or refund. Because staples are perishable and sold by grade and weight, we cannot accept returns for change of mind once an order has been delivered and accepted.

How you must use the platform

You agree not to:

• list, order or move goods you are not lawfully entitled to trade;
• give false business, tax or identity information;
• use the platform to place orders you do not intend to pay for or receive;
• interfere with the platform, attempt to gain unauthorised access, or scrape or copy it; or
• use it for any unlawful purpose or in breach of any applicable market or food-safety regulation.

We may suspend or close an account that breaches these terms.

Liability

The platform is provided on an “as is” basis. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, loss of profit or loss of business. Our total liability in connection with any order is limited to the platform fees we received for that order. Nothing here excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including for fraud.

Intellectual property

The Mandi Bhai name, logo, site and software belong to us. You may not use them without our written permission. Content you supply — such as product listings — remains yours, and you grant us the licence needed to display and distribute it on the platform.

Privacy

Personal data is handled as described in our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these terms.

Changes

We may amend these terms. The revision date above shows the current version, and continued use of the platform after a change means you accept it.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India. The courts at Ghaziabad have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute, subject to any grievance procedure we are required to offer first.
